Implementing Remedies for Conflicts of Interest and Appearance Concerns

Advanced Practitioner Series: In this recording of a one-hour teleconference, participants familiar with reviewing financial disclosure reports for conflicts of interest and appearance issues will review 18 U.S.C. § 208 and 5 C.F.R. § 2635.502 remedies, discuss how to craft an ethics agreement, and review best practices for designing and implementing a screening arrangement. As the basis for the discussion, the presenter references a 278 in which the conflicts have already been identified and highlights other helpful resources.

This session is designed as an orientation to the application of remedies to conflicts of interest and appearance concerns for those who already have familiarity with identifying them.
