2. Agency Model Practices

This section describes a wide range of model practices agencies employ in administering elements of their ethics programs. The practices in this section help agencies exceed mere compliance with ethics rules and regulations and increase the transparency, efficiency, accuracy, accountability, and consistency of their ethics programs. While not all of the practices are suited to every agency, OGE is hopeful that sharing them will provide ethics officials throughout the Federal Government ideas that are useful in developing their own model practices.

OGE is always looking for additional model practices to share. While some of the practices posted in this section were identified by OGE, the majority of them have been submitted to OGE by agencies.
