Employees of the executive branch need the trust of the people they serve to carry out their important work: protecting our safety and security; promoting our health and wellbeing; and helping to grow and strengthen our economy. The executive branch ethics program strives to protect the trust between the American people and their government. To succeed, the ethics program needs your help.
The Office of Government Ethics (OGE) is planning the direction of the executive branch ethics program for the next five years. You have a chance to be part of that planning. Your thoughts and ideas can help improve OGE, the executive branch ethics program, and our country.
Citizens, non-profit organizations, and government employees can all contribute to advancing trust in government. Together, we can build a government that better serves the needs of our nation with the confidence of its citizens. OGE’s strategic plan is an important step in that process and you can help improve it.
You can read a draft of OGE’s strategic plan here. If you have ideas that would make the plan better, you can email them to OGE at OGEStrategicPlan@oge.gov by July 22, 2021. You are also invited to share your thoughts on the Plan at a virtual townhall on July 13, 2021 from 3-4p.m., EST or July 14, 2021 from 5:30-6:30 p.m, EST. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to OGEStrategicPlan@oge.gov.
Thank you for helping OGE promote ethics in government.
