On September 23rd, the Honorable Donna Edwards of the U.S. House of Representatives will deliver a keynote address on the importance of government ethics. Congresswoman Edwards represented Maryland's 4th Congressional District. She was sworn in after a special election to become a member of the U.S. House of Representatives in the 110th Congress in June 2008, becoming the first African American woman to represent Maryland in Congress. Congresswoman Edwards served on the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ethics during the 112th Congress.
